Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Xavier University has a reputation in the local health care community for graduating nurses who are leaders at the bedside—and beyond. Xavier nurses have the skills and experience to effectively advocate for their patients in interdisciplinary situations.

Given the value health care providers place on Xavier nurses, we’ve been able to establish clinical partnerships with several highly respected hospital networks in Greater Cincinnati—giving our nursing students access to some of the best clinical placements in the area.

Our strong nursing presence in Cincinnati has also paved the way for our university to secure quality clinical partnerships for our accelerated nursing students in Columbus and Cleveland. So, no matter where you complete your ABSN program clinicals, you’ll have the respect of those around you.

CINCINNATI HEALTH CARE PARTNERS 

As a student enrolled in our Cincinnati-based ABSN program, you’ll complete your clinical rotations at one or more of the following:

• Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center
• The Christ Hospital Health Network
• TriHealth

COLUMBUS HEALTH CARE PARTNERS 

As a student enrolled in our Columbus-based ABSN program, you’ll complete your clinical rotations at:

• OhioHealth
• Nationwide Children’s Hospital

CLEVELAND HEALTH CARE PARTNERS 

As a student enrolled in our Cleveland-based ABSN program, you’ll complete your clinicals at the renowned Cleveland Clinic.

Cleveland Clinic is ranked the No. 1 hospital for heart care and has been named one of the country’s top hospitals on U.S. News & World Report’s “2022-23 Best Hospitals” list.

This facility is a great place for students to immerse themselves in a professional healthcare environment, as Cleveland Clinic has ranked as a Top 5 hospital since 1999 and has also held the No. 1 ranking in Cardiology & Heart Surgery since 1995.
