XAVIER UNIVERSITY’S ACCELERATED BSN ADMISSION OVERVIEW

Perfect for college graduates and career changers, our second-degree ABSN program makes it possible to earn a quality BSN in 16 months. To begin the accelerated nursing admissions process, you need a non-nursing college degree and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7. Also, you must satisfy the ABSN prerequisites before you can start the program.

GETTING INTO OUR ABSN PROGRAM

As long as you’re eligible, you can apply for a spring, summer, or fall term at one of our three ABSN program locations in Ohio—Cincinnati, Cleveland, or Columbus.

Deferral Policy:
If you are admitted for a term and do not want to start that term you will have to wait one year to reapply.

Due to the competitive nature of nursing school, we recommend contacting our admission team as soon as possible. We follow a rolling admission process, which means we review applications as they come in, rather than waiting for the submission deadline to pass. Admitted students have the opportunity to secure a spot in their preferred term on a first-come, first-served basis.
